Leadership and Entrepreneurial skills Building Leadership and entrepreneurial skill building have been combined so that the youth can understand how these two things together can bring about self-determination and have a powerful impact on their community. They include economic development program that focuses on helping the youth to learn entrepreneurship skills to build individual and community wealth. This program is helping the youth to understand how economics plays an important role in empowering the community to make changes come about. The organizing program helps to build leadership skills among the youth, so that we can become a strong countywide coalition that focuses on youth issues.
YCC of Ghana also has established a training program that work with the youth to improve their skills around leadership and organizing to obtain results in a variety of areas. The hands on skill building training will help teenagers learn how to; identify issues, negotiate to win, conduct effective meetings, fundraise, develop a strategic plan, business development, personal planning and resolve conflicts amicably. We need more volunteers who are business oriented and can teach the areas specified above. We organize entrepreneurship development seminars and training for new graduates and people who would like to start their own business so that they would have some basic idea as to how to go into business.
