EDUCATION
One of the main goal of YCC of Ghana is to help enhancing educational development in the rural and deprived communities and at the same time promote healthy interaction among peoples of different cultures from all over the world through individual and groups of volunteers/Interns who are teachers,counselors and partners.
below are the YCC of Ghana educational programs:
- Inviting and placing volunteer/Interns-teachers from different parts of the world to teach in Ghanaian schools and by the time they leave Ghana they been immersed in Ghanaian culture, way of life and not least, the friendly and warm spirit of the people.
- Volunteers/Interns can teach any one or more of these subjects: English, Math, Social Studies, Life skills, Religious and moral studies, Technical Skills, Basic Computer Skills, Fine Art, Environmental studies, Agricultural Science, Integrated Science and so on.
- Career counseling.
- Introducing Information Technologies to rural communities through establishment of computer training centers.
- Motivation packages for brilliant and needy students in schools and Teachers in deprived community schools.
- Organizing fund and mobilizing teaching materials for the deprived and needy schools in the communities.
