COMPUTER TRAINING

As Part of YCC goals to Provide computer literacy to the Youth and Kids in the Deprieved areas YCC is currently having Community IT Training centre attached to its office.
This project was initiated in November 2005, by kind courtesy of our external advisory board member Alexander Nechanitzky From Germany who visited Sogakope and donated seven used computers for a computer Training course. He was the First computer Instructor(volunteer) for three weeks. So far About 300 childrens aged 10-19 years and Youth were taught in basics of computers, usage of Windows, Microsoft officess, imaging etc.
The training Instructors of the YCC IT Centre are volunteers from Ghana, USA, Canada, Spain and Germany.

YCC Ghana is currently Training the children and Youth to have knowledge of computer usage which will enable them to be part of Information Technology World, prpeare them to pass their IT certificate exam and to enable them apply for job and work in modern offices.
